Secondary Bonding

Secondary bonding operations include the bonding of structural members, blocking or additional fabric reinforcing, coating, fairing or filleting to a previously cured or existing component.

Once the component has cured to a solid state, you will need to wash and sand the surface of the component (if it was not prepared with release fabric) to provide the proper surface for mechanical secondary bonding.
