Wessex Resins & Adhesives are announcing the retirement of David Johnson, Technical Applications Director, after an outstanding 28 years of service to the company.
Since joining in June 1996, David has played a pivotal role at Wessex Resins & Adhesives, helping our customers with his technical expertise, sharing his profound knowledge, and strengthening the reputation the company has as a leader in epoxy manufacturing. His vision, expertise and commitment have left an enduring mark on both the business and the wider boat-building industry.
“David’s contribution to Wessex Resins has been nothing short of incredible,” said Sam Oliver, Operations Director at Wessex Resins & Adhesives. “We celebrate his many achievements and thank him for all he has given to our customers and the company.”
Although retiring from his full-time role, David will continue his long association with the business as a WEST SYSTEM® Ambassador, focusing on WEST SYSTEM® workshops and visits. Through this role, he will share his knowledge and enthusiasm with both experienced professionals and newcomers to epoxy use, ensuring his legacy of expertise continues to inspire.

Expanding technical support
Over the past 12 months, Wessex Resins & Adhesives has expanded its technical support team, further strengthening the high level of service, for which the company is known for. The team is available to provide visits to new and existing customers, provide technical support and expertise via phone or email, ensuring customers receive the same trusted advice and expertise they have always relied upon.
