About Us

Sustainability

At Wessex Resins & Adhesives, we believe in building a sustainable future and are continuously adopting sustainable practices to work towards a healthier planet

Building a sustainable future

Sustainability is a shared responsibility, and we embed it into our daily operations adopting energy-efficient practices and working with partners who share our commitment.

Progress requires collective effort, so we continue to invest in our facilities, advocate for greener futures, and provide transparent data while embracing the technologies that support real change.

As part of this, we are continually upgrading our manufacturing capabilities, integrating sustainable solutions such as energy-efficient automated lighting and modern, environmentally considerate machinery.

solar panels

In 2023 we installed over 350 solar panels that allow us to manufacture from the generation of solar electric.

Our manufacturing facility can exclusively run on solar power for 7 months of the year without the need for other forms of electricity generation.

recycled annually

We track our yearly recycling to analyse our impact and support cleaner manufacturing. Waste reduction runs through our entire process: partnering with suppliers who share our environmental standards, reusing cardboard and optimising machinery during production, and using environmentally friendly packaging that contains recycled material.

For seven months of the year, our 350 solar panels generate 100% of the electricity used by our manufacturing facility.

format_quote

“For us, sustainability is a two-fold approach. Sustainability in our manufacturing process and sustainability in the use of our products to produce the end components.

Within our manufacturing, we can ensure we work towards a sustainable approach in the raw materials we purchase, where we purchase them from and the process we use throughout the manufacturing process.”
