Paddleboards, which help you almost walk on water, are all the rage right now. This blogger decides to undertake the task of building two hollow wood Kaholo 12’6” stand-up paddleboards, keeping a step-by-step photo diary of his project.
The Kaholo’s are made from Okoume marine plywood, stitched-and-glued together and covered in fibreglass and epoxy, with a grid of bulkheads and stiffeners inside to make the boards stiff and light.
WEST SYSTEM® epoxy plays an important part in the paddleboard construction process. Discover the effect epoxy has on the build and monitor this blogger’s exciting progress here.
